Excercise With A Cardio Interval Workout For Your Heart
In a long term study of the health of people living in the United States, the U.S. Public Health Service studied the chances of developing heart disease among certain segments of the population. Persons who were found to be of greatest risk were male subjects that were over thirty five years of age, who smoked, had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and had a family history of heart disease. Other high risk persons included those who were suffering from anxiety and had a compulsive nature.
These threats to the heart can be divided into two main categories, those beyond individual control, such as age, sex, and heredity, and those that can control, avoid, or eliminate the cause of their condition. Those people who are in the last category have a triple threat of suffering from an early heart attack, and those threats are high blood pressure, smoking, and cholesterol.
Smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, places your risk of having a heart attack about twice that of a nonsmoker. Persons that eat fatty foodstuffs, have high blood pressure and don't exercise, have a far greater risk of having heart attack, than those who lead a healthy lifestyle and get regular exercise. So obviously, abstaining from tobacco, adopting a healthy diet, and getting some regular exercise, will go a long way towards keeping your heart healthy. The heart is a muscle, and as such, needs to be exercised just the same as any other muscle of the body.
Statistical studies have proven the relationship between physical activity and heart disease. Persons that remain active during their lives tend to be healthier than those who continually sit behind a desk. When one considers the facts, it would seem that by eating proper food, refraining from tobacco, and doing some regular exercise will allow you to live longer.
The general rule is that exercise helps reduce the risk of the heart becoming diseased, and researches from all parts of the world have agreed that there is a definite connection, between those who perform a daily exercise regimen, and those who possess a healthy heart. Alternatively, people that did little exercise and ate fatty foodstuffs were found to be twice as likely to suffer from a serious heart attack.
So it follows, in order to live longer and be healthier it pays to look after your heart, and it appears that they best way to do that is by giving your heart a regular daily workout. A healthy diet, regular exercise that includes a cardio interval workout, and plenty of fresh air will not only keep your body in good shape, it will also keep your mind alert and free of boredom. Get fit, get healthy and keep moving.
